Full refit of a 1962 racing yacht built at Böhling Werft. Comprehensive project covering teak deck, hull and interior.

Work Carried Out

Complete overhaul of the teak deck — reuse of the old 20mm teak, planed to 10mm, re-laid with epoxy resin and joints milled
Result: completely watertight deck with at least 15 more years of service life
Hull stripping back to metal — application of coarse, medium and fine filler, primer and 2K paint
Teak interior fit-out: furniture, floors, linings and space organisation

Work Carried Out

15er: New centreboard case, keel restoration and replacement of frames
20er: Hull reinforcement with 2 layers of plywood at +45° and -45°, 5mm planks vacuum-bonded with epoxy — classic plank-look finish
30er: Reconstruction of the superstructure, deck beams, mahogany window cladding, sealing with linen fabric, caulking of the underwater hull
